vocabulary 2

Fair/ equitable: governed by rules that apply to everyone, taking into account individual needs and circumstances.
ex.i chose this because this is the start  point that will help laws be made to make everything fair and just.

 Justice System: the institutions and procedures for applying laws in a society.
ex. i chose this because it is one of the worlds justice systems and their called the police.

Justice: applying laws.
ex. i chose this because this picture is of a girl that represents justice.
Legislation: laws created through the legislative process.
ex. i chose this picture just because it says legislation on it.
Validity: reliability, based on a critical assessment of source, facts and bias.
ex. i chose this because validity is based on facts.
Community Service: help in the community performed as part of a sentence, such as assisting with a community clean-up or food bank.
ex. i chose this because it says community service.
Criminal Record: a permanent record of breaking the law, which is public information. A criminal record can bar you from some jobs, volunteer positions and travel to other countries.
ex. i chose this because it says criminal record.
Sentence: a consequence for a crime, such as imprisonment, determined by a court of law.
ex. i chose this because one of the sentences can be jail time.
Rehabilitation: to instil positive behaviors and attitudes.
ex. i chose this because it represents a positive attitude.
Reintegration: to make part of again.
ex. i chose this to show you get back in the community after jail.
